Project Overview
We are urgently seeking native English speakers from the USA and Canada to participate in an audio recording task that needs to be completed within the next 2-4 days. Participants will be required to record 11 specific trigger words, with each word spoken 12 times under varying conditions, resulting in a total of 132 recordings. The recordings should be done in both quiet and reflective environments, with variations in speed, tone, and emotion. Attention to detail is crucial, as each recording must include one second of silence before and after the spoken word, and no background noise should be present. Participants will need to record the trigger words in two environments: a quiet space and a reflective one (like a bathroom or hallway), speaking each word four times in each setting with variations in speed and tone. Additionally, they must record the words in four different emotional states—angry, scared/panicked, worried, and excited—in a quiet setting. This is a time-sensitive task, so please apply only if you can commit to completing the recordings within the 2-4 day timeframe.
