Labeling Overview
We are looking for native or fluent Singlish speakers with strong English writing and editing skills to assist in AI chatbot training. Singlish is an English-based creole language spoken in Singapore, blending English with Malay, Hokkien, Cantonese, Tamil, and other local languages. It has a distinct grammar and vocabulary, often omitting grammatical markers and incorporating unique particles like “lah,” “leh,” and “hor” to convey tone and emphasis. While Singlish is widely used in casual conversations, it differs significantly from standard English in both structure and expression. The tasks involve writing, editing, and rating AI-generated text to ensure it aligns with natural Singlish usage. You will evaluate AI responses for accuracy, fluency, and cultural appropriateness, making corrections or improvements as needed. This role requires a strong understanding of how Singlish is used in different contexts and the ability to refine AI-generated responses so they sound natural while maintaining clarity. Your work will directly contribute to improving AI’s ability to understand and interact with Singlish speakers in a more authentic manner.
