Labeling Overview
We are looking for linguists with 2+ years of experience in Shanghainese, with access to their own Laptop/PC and a stable internet connection. Candidates should have a strong grasp of their language’s phonetics, accent variations, and fluency patterns. Experience in speech evaluation, linguistic analysis, or accent validation is preferred but not mandatory. Participants will interact with an AI model by recording audio prompts, generating AI responses, and evaluating their accent and fluency. The goal is to iterate until at least two and up to five responses receive a perfect 7/7 rating for naturalness. The number of attempts may vary, requiring 10, 20, or more iterations to achieve the best outputs. The content of the responses is not evaluated, only the pronunciation and fluency. The ultimate aim is to enhance the AI’s speech quality to align with natural human accents in the target language.
