Qualifications first: You bring hands-on experience in one or more of audio description, closed captioning, subtitling, or narrative copywriting. You write clean, Native English prose, follow detailed style guides, and maintain strict factual discipline—no speculation and no AI-assisted writing or machine translation. Senior QC applicants have 2+ years of editing or caption QA, provide precise written feedback, and resolve edge cases against a rubric. Reliable internet for streaming is required. Work to be done: For each short clip, produce a single 50–250-word caption optimized for scene understanding: establish setting and background audio; describe key characters, actions/interactions, and overall emotions; include pertinent dialogue; and identify clearly recognizable public figures and brands when visible. Do not name shows or movies, speculate beyond on-screen content, or over-describe irrelevant background characters. An initial calibration phase precedes ongoing production. Rates: Captioner \$25.75/hr; Senior QC \$33.00/hr.
