Project Overview
Native Mandarin speakers only who write strictly in Simplified Chinese (简体中文). Detail-oriented, consistent, and comfortable following written conventions in a consensus/QC environment. Prior ASR transcription or linguistic annotation experience is preferred. What you’ll do: Listen to short Mandarin audio clips and transcribe the speech exactly as spoken in Simplified Chinese. Follow a structured style guide for formatting, spelling, numbers, and multi-speaker handling; apply the project’s annotation conventions as required; choose the correct save state with brief reasoning when applicable; capture required speaker metadata; add concise comments when helpful; and submit high-quality work for review.
