In this project, contributors will design original financial mathematics problems that are computationally intensive and reflect real-world research and modeling scenarios. Problems should challenge solvers with non-trivial reasoning and multi-step quantitative methods, spanning areas like derivatives valuation, stochastic processes, numerical optimization, Monte Carlo simulation, time series analysis, and risk modeling. Solutions will be validated and documented using Python and relevant libraries, ensuring reproducibility and technical rigor. Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree or higher in finance, mathematics, statistics, financial engineering, or a closely related field, plus at least 2 years of relevant applied, research, or teaching experience. Strong Python proficiency for quantitative problem verification, excellent written English (C1+), ability to design novel problems, and familiarity with advanced numerical/statistical tools are required. Certifications and international experience are a plus.
