Participated in the development of an AI model designed to translate English text to Yoruba and speak it fluently. My contribution focused on aiding the collection, curation, and review of relevant language data for model training and evaluation. Worked alongside senior staff to ensure data integrity and the contextual accuracy of language samples.
• Curated and prepared text datasets in both English and Yoruba for model input
• Assisted in testing AI outputs for linguistic fidelity and fluency
• Provided feedback on translation quality and suggested improvements
• Performed basic annotation and categorization of language data for model fine-tuning.
