The goal was to detect the type and quantity of fluids inside the retina of an Age Macular Degeneration patient. We manually segmented three types of fluids from the DICOM to produce almost 20000 images labelled by a team of 5 people. We trained a deep learning model to replicate this behaviour to help doctors in their diagnostics.
