AI-powered Handwritten Prescription Reader – Graduation Project
I developed the PharmaScan app, which reads handwritten prescriptions using AI-powered text recognition. This required collecting, curating, and preparing sample data, including annotating handwritten medical text pairs for model training and evaluation. I worked closely with the data pipeline and model teams to ensure quality data annotation supporting OCR and downstream NLP tasks. • Annotated handwritten prescription images with corresponding structured text outputs. • Ensured high accuracy in data preparation for Arabic and English medical terminology. • Collaborated in validating and refining dataset quality prior to model training. • Used internal tools and scripts to process and label data according to project guidelines.
