VideoAs a Translator and Reviewer at Appen since 2019, I have contributed significantly to AI training datasets through audio translation evaluation and prosody studies. My experience includes assessing and reviewing human audio translations, with a particular focus on maintaining emotional consistency and accuracy in language pairs between English and French. Through the LANDMEEN project, I developed expertise in prosodic evaluation, ensuring translated audio maintains the same emotional resonance and consistency as the source material. What sets me apart is my combination of linguistic expertise (ESOL C1 certification) and technical understanding of machine learning dataset requirements. I have directly contributed to machine learning training datasets through audio translation and transcription work across diverse content types including podcasts, audiobooks, and interviews. Additionally, my experience in the TUBULUTIK project, where I translated guidelines for crowdworkers, demonstrates my understanding of the importance of accurate data labeling instructions in AI training processes.
