The name of the project is Pi. It is a mobile-first cryptocurrency project that launched on the 14th day of March, 2019. The primary mission of the Pi project is to make cryptocurrency mining easy for everyone by mining cryptos directly on their smartphones, thus eliminating the need for expensive energy consuming hardware devices. The team behind this laudable project are Standford University graduates namely, Dr. Nicolas Kokkalis and Dr. Chengdiao Fan. To ensure transparency and confirm the identity of all Pi users a mandatory KYC process is done. Validators are recruited to work using a proprietary, custom-built application called the PI KYC App, which is embedded within the Pi Browser.
