Research Assistant – Medical Imaging Data Labeling and Segmentation
As a Research Assistant at MAILAB, contributed directly to machine learning research and medical image simulation for clinical applications. Participated in projects focused on reconstructing and segmenting 3D medical images using deep learning models. Experience included the development and handling of simulated datasets mimicking real-world medical imaging challenges. • Developed and processed labeled datasets for 3D glioma segmentation tasks. • Simulated low-resolution and error-prone medical imaging data for use in AI training and evaluation. • Conducted data preparation and annotation for training deep learning models on medical image volume reconstruction. • Used internal/proprietary tooling and Python-based scripts for data preprocessing and labeling.
