During my tenure at Outlier.ai, I was privileged to join a Spanish Language Pod, where I actively participated in various projects focused on evaluating prompts and their responses. The tasks varied depending on the project's needs but typically involved a deep analysis of grammar, syntax, and language comprehension. I was responsible for generating appropriate responses, comparing different types of prompts and their outputs, and ranking them based on criteria such as tone, safety, helpfulness, and accuracy. Additionally, I created new prompts and evaluated responses to ensure they were as human-like as possible, taking into account the user's origin—whether from South America, a specific South American country, or Spain. My work also extended to evaluating the proper formatting for different devices, including the assessment of audio chatbot interactions. This required a keen understanding of how to deliver useful, accurate content in a manner suited to audio formats, which is distinct from written chatbots. I focused on ensuring that the responses were not only factually correct but also communicated effectively and concisely, taking into account the unique demands of audio communication. These experiences have honed my skills in AI training data management and evaluation, making me adept at contributing to projects that require a nuanced understanding of language and AI.
