I hold a PhD in Optical Engineering and have over eight years of experience in applied physics, photonics, metasurfaces, and optoelectronic device research across the UK and China, including industry-focused work through the Smart Nano NI consortium with partners such as Seagate, Causeway, and Yelo. My expertise spans electromagnetic wave manipulation, optical system design, computational modelling (FDTD), micro- and nano-fabrication, and imaging/sensing technologies, supported by more than 15 publications in high-impact journals.
