I completed a self-directed data labelling project focused on healthcare and support services content. I collected a small dataset of public articles and patient-information leaflets and labelled sentences by topic (symptoms, treatment, eligibility, support services) to practise consistent annotation. I created clear labelling guidelines, double‑checked my own work for consistency, and tracked edge cases in a simple spreadsheet so I could apply the same decisions across the whole dataset.
