Impact Enterprises is a VC-backed, socially-driven outsourcing company with a mission to provide high quality digital services while empowering communities in Zambia. Over the last 5 years, we have focused our services on data annotation and LLM fine-tuning via experienced data annotators and domain experts to provide affordable skilled labor for model training and evaluation. We manage both remote workers from around the world and in-house office-based staff in English-speaking Zambia and Kenya, depending on the skills, languages, and security protocols needed. We are currently undergoing ISO certification and have physical security measures and professionally managed cybersecurity protocols in place. The majority of our clients fall under NDAs, but we have worked with major companies such as Luminar Tech to optimize their 3D LiDAR systems, along with a variety of other NLP clients. We prioritize quality, which we manage through a combination of human oversight and other processes and methodologies such as consensus and gold standard approaches. We also have algorithmic and statistical approaches to data analytics of the labelers via tooling partnerships. Lastly, we pride ourselves on our mission-driven approach to business. We optimize our operations to provide top-quality services while supplying jobs to ambitious professionals. We also work in partnership with our NGO, Impact Network, to improve rural education in Zambia.
