Shopify taxonomy is a product classification system with categories (hierarchy like “Electronics > Audio > Headphones”) and attributes (characteristics like “Color”, “Battery life”). This helps merchants categorize products and customers find them through filters. An LLM analyzes products on shop.app and proposes improvements: 1. Category Addition - adding new categories when products lack a suitable category. 2. Attribute Addition - creating new attributes for important characteristics not covered by existing attributes. 3. Attribute Connection - connecting existing attributes to new categories. My role was to verify proposals were correct and supported by real products.
