I am an accomplished AI researcher and machine learning engineer with a strong focus on computer vision and medical artificial intelligence. Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s degree at KAIST, where I have worked on innovative projects, including developing a Generative Adversarial Network for image inpainting and creating a lightweight real-time face alignment network. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Yonsei University. Throughout my career, I have held various research positions, including significant roles at SAIGE, Letsur, and Yonsei University Severance Hospital, where I contributed to advanced algorithms for medical imaging applications like brain tumor segmentation and glaucoma diagnosis. In addition to my research experience, I have co-authored multiple publications in reputable journals and presented at conferences, showcasing my expertise in weakly-supervised learning and instance segmentation. I have received numerous awards for my innovative projects in AI, including first place in hackathons focused on AI data construction and object recognition. My involvement in extracurricular activities, such as leading projects in the Yonsei University Big Data Club and assisting in workshops on deep learning, further highlights my commitment to advancing the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
