While I have not held a formal AI training title yet, my professional experience maps directly onto the core competencies the role demands. At EPIS, I evaluate policy arguments through peer-review processes where the quality, neutrality, and logical soundness of written outputs are scrutinized against editorial criteria. I also have many years’ experience in the field of teaching. Beyond this, I actively integrate AI tools into my research and writing practice to improve efficiency and output quality, and I have formalized that familiarity through the AI Skills Training program run by the Cyber Peace Institute and Microsoft. The course covered AI fundamentals and real-world applications, as well as prompt engineering, including how to identify and mitigate bias in AI interactions, which is precisely the kind of critical awareness an AI trainer needs when reviewing model outputs. What sets me apart is not just technical exposure, but the combination of analytical rigor from legal and policy research, editorial precision from professional writing, and a trained eye for bias and consistency. These skills that are harder to teach than platform familiarity, and that I bring ready-made.
