Koech holds an M.S. in Environmental Health & Safety (University of Wisconsin, magna cum laude), a Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics (Air Force Institute of Technology), and the CSP credential. His career includes nearly a decade of U.S. Air Force bioenvironmental engineering service — managing large-scale DoD environmental data systems, developing the DoD's first noise modeling software for combat arms training ranges, leading F-35 fleet health assessments, and overseeing radiation, radon, and water safety programs. He currently serves as a U.S. Coast Guard officer in marine safety and prevention operations.
