Freelancer Overview

As a computer science graduate with hands-on experience in data labeling and AI model training, I bring a strong foundation in machine learning, image processing, and annotation tools. My academic research project involved creating a labeled dataset of leaf images from local plants to classify health conditions using YOLOv7, giving me practical experience with end-to-end data pipeline management, from data collection to model training. I am skilled in tools like RoboFlow for annotation, alongside deep learning frameworks like PyTorch for model development.

Plant health detection and segmentation using leaf images

I worked on a research assistant project at my university for my bachelor's degree in computer science. It was a solo project focused on collecting leaf images from three local plants: banana trees, coconut trees, and mango trees. Each plant had one healthy class and at least two unhealthy classes. Each class consisted of 100 images prior to image augmentation. RoboFlow was used for labeling the images, and YOLOv7 was used to train the model. Finally, I compared the model's performance for each tree species.
