Freelancer Overview

Ghaith Al Shokairi for the last five years served as a Project Manager at the IM Swedish Development Partner, his role included supporting the partner organizations in Jordan to raise the institutional capacities in several areas of localization, good governance, and advocacy, in addition to focusing on the thematic areas of IM including gender equality, do-no-harm approach, rights-based approach, ensuring civic spaces, social, economic, and climate justice. Previously as well, he lead the research at the Real-Time Scaling Lab (RTSL) in Jordan focusing on Financial Education Program supported by INJAZ & the Brookings Institution. Prior to joining INJAZ, Ghaith worked at FHI360’s USAID Civic Initiatives Support Program with special focus on institutional capacity building for civil society organizations. In addition to having several years of experience in media development and raising capacities of media practitioners and enhancing media freedoms in Jordan and the MENA region working with media support organizations such as Center for Defending Freedom of Journalists and the Jordan Media Institute. He volunteers as a mentor to Lazord Fellowship Program in Jordan for the last five years.
