Graduate Researcher - Digital Labeling of Mining Accident Records
I built a specialized database to classify and structure occupational accident records within the mining sector. The project involved transforming 335 raw archives into a digital, labeled dataset for safety analysis. Advanced logic and validation rules were engineered to ensure labeling accuracy and consistency. • Employed Kobo Toolbox to digitize and manage textual records. • Applied the ESAW (Eurostat) methodology and expanded it with custom industry labels. • Labeled document records with variables such as accident severity and type. • Developed multi-layer validation rules for robust data integrity.
