TextI started working as a Data Annotator at the beginning of 2025, an interest that began when I led a project to customize an AI ecosystem for a client at my full-time job. After that experience, I pursued my first freelance opportunities with companies such as Data Annotation Tech, Outlier, and Aligner. Over the past six months, I’ve been involved in projects using RLHF techniques—ranging from creating criteria and parameters to evaluate responses from different models, to defining complex rubrics to customize AI according to client needs. The key skills and qualities I’ve developed while working as a data annotator for AI training include strong analytical thinking, the ability to follow client instructions precisely, sharp attention to detail, and a refined capacity to recognize and adjust subtle nuances in AI responses to meet specific goals.
