I have actively engaged in my own hands-on projects to build my experience in data labeling and AI training data. I successfully completed an image annotation project using LabelImg, where I annotated a dataset of automotive images, acquired online, identifying and labeling key components such as fuel tanks, wheels, and filters. This project not only honed my technical skills in object detection but also deepened my understanding of the importance of high-quality training data in AI applications. Additionally, I undertook a video annotation project using CVAT, where I annotated a short video clip focused on identifying different traffic signs. This experience allowed me to practice recognizing and labeling various traffic signs, which is crucial for developing AI systems in autonomous driving. I also explored Label Studio, utilizing its versatile interface for annotating a dataset from Kaggle that included images of street scenes with corresponding text descriptions. This project further enhanced my skills in data labeling by combining visual and textual data. My background in System Engineering and technical writing complements my data labeling skills, enabling me to create clear documentation and ensure efficient AI training.
