I'm originally a translator but I've been working in tech, as a data annotator, for almost 17 years now. I started with tagging and then moved on to image labelling. I've been evolving alongside the technology and recently worked with AI, LLM and virtual assistant projects. Image labelling is my best field, as I am highly detail-oriented, but this works well with LLM training too. LLM has also been my preferred field lately as I'm a fast researcher and text analyst due to my background in linguistics. I have been an active independent contractor with now 4 different companies, my oldest contract being more than 10 years old, and have participated in over 100 different projects, both short and long-term.

The project consists on recording voice commands to train Virtual Assistants on command recognition. Each bulk to record consists in between 100-250 recordings. Recording is done either in English or Spanish. The prompts include instructions such as tone of voice, intonation, speed and/or volume.

On-going training of LLM, analyzing responses based on guidelines, including accuracy, helpfulness, and comparison between similar answers. On occasion, I had to provide feedback on said answers in order to improve them. The project included different steps in the development process as well as different guidelines to apply depending on the type of analysis, i.e. I would analyze the same response on different stages according to the guideline applied to that stage.

The project included different projects with the same specifications and guidelines. We would work on different rosters and once completed, move on to the next one, but the bulk of each roster included +100k items to analyze. The task consisted on matching the search term to the images provided by the search engine and determine it's accuracy.
