Mechanical Engineer Trainee
As a Mechanical Engineer Trainee in the maintenance department, I provided daily surveillance and troubleshooting of rotating and static equipment to support operations. Root Cause Analysis and Reliability-Centered Maintenance principles were applied during investigations to improve equipment performance and reduce repetitive faults. My responsibilities included collaborating with other teams and preparing maintenance documentation. • Conducted maintenance and troubleshooting on pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and utility systems. • Supported commissioning, testing, and validation of natural gas systems. • Interpreted process flow diagrams and equipment configurations for troubleshooting. • Gained exposure to Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures.
