Annotator
In my work with Appen Appen, I used bounding boxes to complete image annotation tasks for a human anatomy project focused on training computer vision models. What I Did I was responsible for drawing precise bounding boxes around specific anatomical structures in medical images. These images included labeled diagrams and clinical-style visuals of different parts of the human body. The goal was to help train AI systems to accurately detect and classify anatomical regions. How I Used Bounding Boxes Identifying Target Structures I carefully reviewed each image and identified the required anatomical feature (e.g., organs, muscles, bones, or vessels) based on the project guidelines. Drawing Accurate Boxes Using Appen’s annotation tool, I created tight-fitting rectangular bounding boxes around the visible boundaries of each structure. I ensured: The entire structure was included Minimal background was captured Overlapping regions were handled according to instructions
