Freelancer Overview

I am Italian and have lived in Germany for the past 13 years, where I graduated at the faculty for Translation, Linguistics and Cultural Studies at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz. My language combination comprises Italian, German, English, French and Spanish. While still attending university, I started working as a freelance Language Service Provider (LSP). I can now count on 8 years of experience as translator, proofreader, online editor and content creator. Most recently, I have also been working in data annotation, evaluation and editing for generative AI. Through my experiences as an LSP, I was able to employ and further develop my skills as a linguist: I can quickly and efficiently research and gain specific information in various fields. It is this insight that allows me to create and translate various forms of texts, assuring their correctness and that the deployed style and terminology are also appropriate. In particular, I am experienced in the creation of texts for the following fields: medicine, pharma, design, architecture, gastronomy, e-learning, e-commerce and industrial technologies. For all of these I have employed the entirety of my language combination and have worked with different textual types, such as blogposts, websites, instruction manuals, information brochures and commercial emails.
