One of the projects I am most proud of was contributing to Awarri, Nigeria’s first locally trained multilingual AI assistant. I worked on annotating and evaluating voice and text data in Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, and Pidgin, ensuring cultural accuracy, contextual relevance, and high-quality language understanding. My work helped improve the model’s ability to understand real Nigerian conversations, slang, and intent. I also supported quality assurance and guideline refinement, which improved dataset consistency and model performance. This project stands out because it directly supported the development of an AI system built specifically for Nigerian users and real-world communication needs
