I developed a 3D generative deep learning model utilizing 3D U-Net architecture to reconstruct and fill cavities in tooth mesh data. I created a comprehensive synthetic dataset of both healthy and decayed teeth by procedurally generating cavities on STL models. The data was voxelized and used in training, resulting in a notable Dice similarity score of approximately 0.85. • Labeled and segmented 3D tooth mesh data with generated cavity features. • Conducted voxelization to prepare 3D data for AI training. • Focused on labeling both healthy and decayed segments for model input. • Performed evaluation of segmentation results to measure reconstruction accuracy.
