I served as an active open-source contributor to the OpenTelemetry Collector project, contributing critical changes to exporter configuration and metadata generation tools. I was responsible for improving production metrics and ensuring consistency across custom metadata extensions. This position demanded a deep understanding of Golang, observability tools, and large collaborative software projects. • Added disable_scope_info option and improved scope-label translation on Prometheus Remote Write exporter.
• Fixed metadata schema resolution in mdatagen for extension preservation.
• Worked closely with a global team to review and merge PRs.
