As a Geology Intern, I contributed to daily mining operations by supporting drilling, blasting, and mineral classification tasks. I worked with experienced teams, learned stratigraphic and mineralogical processes, and prioritized safety throughout my internship. My efforts focused on maintaining efficient production and sample management within a large quarry environment. • Monitored quality and quantity of mined materials during blending to ensure operational efficiency. • Collaborated with mining teams to execute safe and efficient drilling and blasting procedures. • Classified limestone samples and participated in rock sample collection for analysis. • Supported consistent production flow by coordinating excavation and haulage activities.
