Freelancer Overview

I am a medically qualified doctor, PhD student, and Clinical Research Training Fellow with specialist experience in Clinical Oncology in the UK, working in a busy tertiary cancer centre and research-intensive academic setting. Although my formal commercial experience in AI training data and annotation is entry level, my clinical and academic work closely aligns with many core AI training functions, including structured content review, evidence-based evaluation, rubric-driven assessment, error detection, quality control, and producing consistent, high-accuracy written feedback. I am used to handling complex, nuanced information where precision, reliability, and adherence to detailed guidance are essential. My background spans clinical oncology, translational cancer research, bioinformatics, scientific writing, literature appraisal, and academic teaching. I hold an MBChB (Hons), MRCP (UK), and FRCR, and I am currently completing a PhD in translational cancer research. I also hold an MRes in Oncology with Distinction and a PGCert in Clinical and Professional Education with Merit. These qualifications, combined with experience in structured assessment and quality-focused work, make me particularly well suited to AI training, data annotation, and evaluation tasks involving medical, scientific, and technical content.
