Freelancer Overview

I am a Statistics student at the University of Nairobi with practical exposure to AI training data work through both training and hands-on freelance tasks. Through the ALX Data Science program, I have developed foundational skills in data handling, cleaning, and basic analysis using tools such as Excel and introductory Python, which have strengthened my understanding of structured datasets and how they support machine learning systems. Alongside my studies, I have spent the past four months working on AI training and data annotation tasks on the Mindrift platform, where I gained experience in following detailed labeling guidelines, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining consistency across different datasets. This work has helped me build strong attention to detail, discipline in task execution, and the ability to interpret instructions precisely, especially in environments where data quality directly impacts model performance. I am comfortable working independently in remote settings, adapting quickly to new task requirements, and delivering work that meets strict quality standards, making me well-suited for AI training data, labeling, and related freelance opportunities.
