Mathematics Outlier's Flamingo Project
At Outlier AI, I led a project focused on enhancing the performance of a Math AI Solver designed to interpret, solve, and explain a wide range of mathematical problems. My role involved refining the AI's logic, training it with diverse and accurately labeled datasets, and improving its ability to handle symbolic expressions, algebra, and word problems. Through systematic debugging, annotation, and optimization of model outputs, I increased the solver’s accuracy by 71%. This project not only sharpened the AI's precision but also made it more accessible for students and educators, supporting faster, more accurate learning through technology.
